Mother’s day Celebration

Hi Mommies,

I want to share how I celebrate my simple Mother’s day with my family during this enhanced community quarantine, even if it’s not pandemic, I have always had a simple mother’s day celebration with my love ones.

Last May 10, Sunday was Mother’s day. Honestly when I woke up that day, I am not feeling well due to my third month of pregnancy signs and symptoms. The whole morning I wasn’t on the mood to cook or eat or even stand up because of dizziness and vomiting. My Hubby and Kenj greeted me a Happy Mother’s day with a kiss and hug from them both, then I and my Mom greeted a happy mother’s day too with a hug and kiss from each other. After lunch, I was feeling better and decided to cook pasta called pancit canton bihon and banana loaf bread for mother’s day and at the same time it’s my Hubby’s birthday, the other foods on our table we have decided to order for delivery but we make sure that the food we order can be re-heated again just to make sure that our food is safe to eat from the pandemic since I am pregnant and craving for pizza and crispy fried chicken with gravy from the fast-food take out for a long time since lot’s of fast foods and restaurants has gone closed and some are not capable to deliver in our area. My Hubby went to SnR pizza to buy my cravings and at the same time he went to the grocery to re-stock our essentials. Perks of being pregnant, You can eat your cravings without questions, hahahaha! Thank you Hubby for satisfying my cravings, Very much appreciated.

We have a dinner celebration since all the foods I prepared and ordered just got in time before dinner. We have a hearty meal and the food has comforted us because this is what we have been wanting to eat for a long time, Like for my Hubby he requested me to cook pasta pancit canton bihon on his birthday, Kenj, my Mom and me requested for pizza and my dad has no request at all. I baked the banana loaf bread since we don’t like to order cakes from bakeshops since the cakes cannot be re-heated unlike pizza or other foods that can be put in ovens or heated using pans. We had a very nice chats and different stories to share on the table during mother’s day some topics are funny topics and most of the time are from the current events happening in our country and the pandemic. We ended our Mother’s day celebration with a full and satisfied tummy and went to our rooms since we had a very long chat on the dining table until we noticed its bedtime.

I also want to share my message and gratitude to my mom. here it goes.

Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom. I love you po!
Your little girl is now a Mom like you too!๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’› Ever since I became a Mom, not a single day I think and appreciate what you did for us and how you show us your Love, care, positivity, and being strong when problems come. And for that I am thankful po for passing those values to me and will pass it on to my family too! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’› para sa akin ito po ay isang pamana na walang hihigit sa materyal na bagay ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›
